Town Beach Parking Passes

 

Resident & Non-Resident Beach Parking Pass Issuance

It’s that time of the year again for the Town to issue Beach Parking Passes for Residents and Non-Residents as set by Town Ordinance.  This is not a renewal process; new logs are created yearly.  Even if individuals have obtained passes in previous years, the Town still requires current status information.  Town Hall Staff will not reserve, or mail passes.  Per Town Ordinance, motor vehicles, and other vehicles (other than bicycles) are required to have permits for parking at the Town’s Beach Parking Lot.  The following information applies:

Residents: 

Passes for residents will be issued beginning at 8:30 am, Tuesday, May 24, 2022  at Palm Beach Shores Town Hall, 247 Edwards Lane.   “Residents” are defined as property owners in the Town and/or renters who have a current one year lease.  Each household is entitled to purchase one (1) permit per vehicle and one (1) guest pass per household.  Permits must be affixed to the right-rear bumper of the registered vehicle.  Guest passes shall be prominently displayed in the vehicle’s rear window.  Permits are not transferable.   The sale of passes to residents is always available during regular business hours.  Please have the following documentation available:

    • Photo ID.
    • Vehicle Registration for the vehicle to which the Beach Parking Pass sticker will be affixed.
    • Proof of residency.  Town Hall Staff can verify ownership through the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office.  New owners whose information has not been updated with the County should bring purchase documentation.  For renters, provide a current one-year lease agreement. If renting for less than one year, the property owner will need to obtain the pass.
    • Fee of $10 per sticker and $10 for one (1) Guest Pass.  Town Hall will only accept cash, check and credit card, and please note a 2.5% convenience fee will be applied when using a credit card.  Make checks payable to the Town of Palm Beach Shores.
    • Rental cars will need registration of personal vehicle.

 Non-Residents:

Please have the following documentation available:
    • Photo ID.
    • Vehicle Registration for the vehicle to which the Beach Parking Pass sticker will be affixed.
    • A fee of $350- Town Hall will only accept cash, check & credit cards  (please note a 2.5% convenience fee will be applied,  extra $8.75 for the $350 when using a credit card).  Make checks payable to the Town of Palm Beach Shores. 

Motels/hotels of up to 30 units are entitled to the issuance of five (5) guest cards upon the issuance of a vehicle parking permit.  Motels/hotels over 30 units are entitled to the issuance of ten (10) guest cards upon the issuance of a vehicle parking permit.

Timeshare Holders:
Timeshare Holders are required to provide proof of ownership, such as a deed.

As a reminder, no commercial vehicle parking or overnight parking shall be permitted at the Town’s Beach Parking Lot.  Community Center event parking is handled on an individual basis with the issuance of temporary passes for each specific event.  

 Please note:  New 2022-2023 Resident Beach Parking Passes will be available on May 24, 2022
                        New 2022-2023 Non-Resident Beach Parking Passes will be available on July 1, 2022
                       (Town Hall Opens at 8:30 a.m.)

 

THE COST FOR A 2022-2023 NON-RESIDENT BEACH PARKING PASS IS $350.00
