Resident & Non-Resident Beach Parking Pass Issuance

It’s that time of the year again for the Town to issue Beach Parking Passes for residents as set by Town Ordinance. This is not a renewal process; new sticker(permit) information logs are created yearly. Even if individuals have obtained passes in previous years, the Town still requires current status information. Town Hall staff will not reserve or mail passes. Per Town Ordinance, motor vehicles and other vehicles (other than bicycles) must have permits to park at the Town’s Beach Parking Lot. The following information applies:

Residents:

Residents' passes will be available starting at 8:30 am, Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Palm Beach Shores Town Hall, 247 Edwards Lane.  "Residents" are defined as property owners in the Town and renters with a current one-year lease. Each household is entitled to purchase one (1) permit per vehicle and one (1) guest pass per household. Permits must be affixed to the right-rear bumper of the registered vehicle. Guest passes shall be prominently displayed on the vehicle's dashboard. Permits are not transferable.  The sale of passes to residents is always available during regular business hours. Please have the following documentation available:

    • Photo ID.
    • Vehicle Registration for the vehicle to which the Beach Parking Pass sticker will be affixed.
    • Proof of residency.  Town Hall staff can verify ownership through the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser’s Office.  New owners whose information has not been updated with the County should bring purchase documentation.  For renters, provide a current one-year lease agreement. If renting for less than one year, the property owner will need to obtain the pass.
    • The fees are $10 per sticker and $10 for one (1) Guest Pass. Town Hall will only accept cash, check, and credit/debit card. Please note a 2.5% convenience fee will be applied when using a credit/debit card. Make checks payable to the Town of Palm Beach Shores.
    • Rental cars will need registration of personal vehicle.

Motels/hotels of up to 30 units are entitled to the issuance of five (5) guest cards upon the issuance of a vehicle parking permit.  Motels/hotels over 30 units are entitled to the issuance of ten (10) guest cards upon the issuance of a vehicle parking permit.
